Nothing to be ashamed of here. As a veteran employee of a major newspaper company around that time, I assure you the marching orders there and then weren't much different. And writing under deadline is good experience for anyone.

Speaking just as a Google user, the Panda changes and those that followed have made for a much more rewarding user experience and a richer editorial landscape in 2020.
